SAVVYAUTHORS Community Writing Workshop
- Have trouble keeping a writing schedule?
- Feel like you are isolated while you are writing?
- Need some feedback on your writing?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, then our ongoing Savvy Community Writing Workshop is for you. Think about it as a combination of a write-in and a critique group with some added perks.
These two-hour workshop sessions offered in real-time via Zoom are divided into a writing session and a critique session.
During the writing session, we will have two twenty-minute periods of writing followed by a 10-minute social break (or snack break). The second hour is the critique session. You can share what you wrote during the writing session or something else you are working on.
You will get feedback from the other students and group teacher/moderator, Terri Main who has written professionally for fifty years and taught writing for forty of those years.
As an added perk, you will receive a professional critique of one piece of writing no longer than 10,000 words each month. That is a $50.00 value.
There will be two such sessions a week. One is Monday at 5 pm Pacific Time. The other is Thursday at 7 pm Pacific Time. You can attend either one or both.
Whether you need consistency, feedback, or just a time of being with other writers, this is the place to be.
- NOTE: THIS IS A MONTHLY RENEWAL PROGRAM WITH A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT of $50
- This writing workshop is available for Premium Members Only.
Read what Terri’s students say about her classes:
“I highly recommend this class. It covered how to develop a concept and plan/plot it and how to prepare the manuscript and design the cover. I really enjoyed this class and It gave me a sense of confidence to see how easy it can be if one is organized. The instructor offers feedback if the student uploads the homework. The lessons and assignments get the book started and on the right track. Due to family and work drama I didn’t totally finish the book but I have a decent outline to just flesh out. If you are not a published nonfiction author or seek do publish on your own, don’t hesitate to take this course. I applaud the instructor.tly establish and reach my writing goals. Additional side benefits: her focus on being a healthy writer greatly improved my diet & exercise routine…while I tripled my daily word count!”~ LSR
“Clear and easy-to-understand instructions on how to use the Kindle Creator plug-in for MS-word. No fluff, just straight to the point, along with some humor made this an enjoyable, very informative and useful class. Thank you.”~ NLW
