I am currently based in lincolnshire but will soon be relocating to cumbria.

Hi Marie and WELCOME!

I'm also an MG/YA writer. I've studied PBs but haven't written them.
We have a cool SIG (Special Interest Group) for KIDLIT which includes PB/MG/YA/NA -- so you would be a perfect addition to our small universe.

We also gather together during boot camps to form a team when we are writing furiously for the NaNo or CampNaNo like events. (One is coming in April)

@Sunny Irene Roth writes PBs and teaches how to write them, too. I'm sure she'll look forward to meeting you.
