June will walk the writer through the elements that help to create a horror story during the first two weeks and write a horror short story or opening of a longer work during the second week.
We will look at examples of published stories to see what elements worked to make them horror stories. The student will also write passages or use examples of their own stories for some of the exercises. Exercises will be assigned for each lesson and the instructor will provide feedback.
