DARKSIDE
Welcome to the world of the “Dark Side” or How to create criminals with reality and flair.

A brief synopsis for this course is:
1. Profiling
2. Differences and Similarities between Sociopaths and Psychopaths
3. Types of Psychopaths
4. Criminal Characteristics
Serial Killers and other violent offenders
Non Violent offenders
White Collar Crimes

I would love to say that putting together all the pieces is as easy as 1, 2, 3, but it is a tad bit more complicated than that. Here we will start with profiling, what it is and how to do it. From that, we look at the crime and decide what type of criminal we’re looking at. Then we will weave in and out of real life as we plot, carry out, and hopefully solve your crimes – all while being mindful of psychological behavior – The Dark Side.

Not all crime involves the Dark Side, but many do. Someone can snap and in the heat of passion commit murder. He or she isn’t technically in the Dark Side, but he career criminal, the serial killer, the mass murdered, the traitor – they have gone to the Dark Side.

Very informative about the types of possible villains (or dysfunctional heroes for that matter) out there.
Fantastic information and the instructor responded to every post quickly and in detail. I learned a ton of things that are going to be practically useful to my writing. She was even able to incorporate cases and situations going on right now to apply what we had learned. Very cool!
