Announcement Instructors need love too! Please consider leaving a review at the end of the class. :)

Hello,

Thanks so much for taking this workshop. We hope you enjoyed it and you learned a lot!

We are asking registrants at the end of the class to leave a review for a workshop. This helps to boost the reputation of our wonderful instructors. If you don't have a sparkling review, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] to let me know. We strive to put on the best workshops with the best instructors, so we welcome feedback.

To leave a review at the end of the workshop (which always ends on a Sunday), the request for a rating will be unlocked. Please note that if you don't see the "Leave a rating" it's likely because the class hasn't officially ended.

*Please note that will need to be on the "Overview" of the class.

When you click "Leave a rating" then there will be a pop-up box that will ask you to give a star rating and write a review. * Please note that the review MUST be at least 75 characters. When you are finished, please ensure that you hit "Submit rating" that will make it live for everyone to see. This review/rating will show in the instructor's reviews.

From the Admins... PLEASE READ: How to Create a New Thread, Reply to a Post, and Attach a Document

Hello,

Please read till the end of this thread to learn how to create a new thread, reply to a post, and attach a document.

Finding your classroom and other registered classes:

Once you’ve logged in to the SavvyAuthors, you can either find your classroom through the access details that you received in the reminder email sent the morning the class opened or clicking on the upside triangle on Classes & Events on menu bar.

You will see Registered Classes as an option. Click on it and it will take you to another screen where it lists the other classes that you’ve presented or taken at SavvyAuthors.

Click on the class that you’d like to enter. The screen will look like the screenshot taken below. If you click on Classroom Discussionson the tab, then you will be taken to your private workshop forum.

This is what a classroom will look like. The administrator and moderator will post their threads before the class opens at 9 a.m. EST.

When you post a new thread, it will also be listed in the classroom. If you click on the thread title, then you will be taken to that thread where you can read the post. When you’d like to return to the classroom, click on Classroom Discussions again. * Please note that you will not receive an email subscription when you post, but you will receive an email when someone else posts a reply.

To post a NEW thread:

Click the orange button, “Post New Thread” box on the top right of the class listing or at the bottom. (Both buttons do the same thing.)

Below is the create thread page:

Click on (No prefix) to add a prefix, this can be Homework, Discussion, or Question.
  • Click on Thread title...type in the title
  • Click on the body box (where typing can be pasted or typed)
You will have to scroll down the screen to see the blue “Post Thread” button.

From the Admins... Automatic Email Subscription - PLEASE READ

Hello!

Our system automatically subscribes all registrants to email notification when a post is made in a workshop that they've registered for.

We ask moderators and presenters to post before the class/event officially opens to ensure that when the registrant receives access to the workshop on the first day at 9 a.m. EST there are introduction posts when they first enter the Classroom Discussion area.
*** You will NOT receive an email subscription for any posts that are posted before the class officially opens at 9 a.m. EST. Email subscription will begin at 9 a.m. EST on Day 1. ***

You will receive a reminder email on the morning that the workshop is scheduled to start before 9 a.m. EST with access details, and then you are automatically subscribed to receive emails for all new threads and posts in this forum. If you'd like to be unsubscribed, please email [email protected]

If you are not receiving emails for the posts that are posted after 9 a.m. EST on the first day of the workshop, please search your email for: [email protected], which is the address where the subscription emails will come from. If you are NOT receiving an email notification for new posts/threads, please check your Junk or Spam Folder, and then email us. :)

Please do not respond to this email as it doesn't go to our support team. You can email our support team at [email protected]

Thanks! Enjoy the workshop!
