This was the most helpful class I've ever taken. The immediate feedback was precise and constructive--giving enough suggestion for me to try again. Although I do not have a complete, query-able letter yet, I feel as though I CAN compose one (although my innate insecurities have me wondering whether the story itself is the problem rather than the query content.) Best $30 I've spent on my writing! I will share this site and Amy with my writing group. One criticism: the original page that links us to assignments was fairly overwhelming for me at first. I was only able to participate because rj sent a direct link to the classes. Since I only saw the writing of a few other "classmates" I'm assuming they had similar challenges (or they preferred to remain private?). My follow-up submissions were sent with fingers crossed and a prayer that they were done correctly (Amy always responded, so I guess they arrived, if not in the proper thread.) Anyway, I suggest that in the future, a simple link to the class be provided. (Perhaps all that happened to me because there was a mixup of my registration?) Thank you--I'll be back!
