Any of Joan's Classes are amazing. This particular course really helped progress my novel writing skills, as I'm deep in revisions to get to submission ready. I'm glad I took this course before revising because I have a new set of eyes and skill set to use on my novel. I usually don't participate in some classes because of my work schedule, but I did the homework and Joan does critique various scenes of our works in progress. I think her input has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend her classes and this course.
