During the bi-monthly video sessions, cameras do not need to be turned on, and there is no pressure for anyone to do so.
- Recommendations will be taken and members will vote on the craft book that we will read.
- Read and discuss books on all things writing, from plot structure to character development. Join a bi-monthly video chat to discuss the book of choice.
- Share key takeaways and how to apply them to our own work.
- Engage in writing exercises inspired by each book.

- Class Format
- This Savvy Authors' event will be held on a forum (bulletin board based system) and also in a live bi-monthly video chat. You will receive a reminder notice one day prior to the start of the workshop that includes instructions on how to access the workshop forum. If you have not received instructions by the day the workshop begins, please check your spam filter.
The forum will be available the morning (EST) of the day the workshop starts and will remain accessible to all participants thereafter. You will also be given simple instructions on how to create a PDF of all your discussions along with our privacy and data retention policy.
