Andrea J. Johnson is an editor and author having written for the women’s lifestyle brands Popsugar and The List Daily. She has also developed several craft articles for such websites as Crime Reads, LitReactor, Submittable, Funds for Writers, and DIY MFA. She holds a B.A. in English from Swarthmore College, a copyediting certification from UC San Diego, and an M.F.A. in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. In addition, she teaches Creative Writing and African American literature at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. But most notably, she is the author of the Victoria Justice Mysteries about a trial stenographer turned amateur sleuth (think Murder, She Wrote meets The Pelican Brief) and the mastermind behind the sensational genre guides Mastering the Art of Suspense, How to Craft a Killer Cozy Mystery, and How to Craft Killer Dialogue.
