- How it Works:
This will be a live monthly video chat that will last up to an hour. We will have a designated private forum and authors “sign up" to share what they need help brainstorming.
The deadline for registrants to express interest in brainstorming help is three days before the scheduled video session.
Registration is limited to four (4) writers who wish to present their story challenge.
For example, each person who signs up will get "floor time" to have the group brainstorm whatever they are having issues with. The time allowed is around 15 minutes per person.
Four (4) writers will be able to present their needs each month. Each presenting writer seeking brainstorming help will provide the group ahead of time with the following information:
- Describe the block.
- What have you already tried to get through this block?
- If the block has to do with your story, provide the following information:
- Provide the genre of the story
- Provide a summary of the story (up to 200 words)
During the monthly video sessions, cameras do not need to be turned on, and there is no pressure for anyone to do so.
