Pat Hauldren is a writer and freelance editor raised on Heinlein, Asimov, Bradbury, Dick, Le Guin, etc. She wrote her first science fiction story in the fifth grade. Her teacher told her what she had written was "unsightly to God's eyes," which only encouraged to continue. A retired electronic technician and Quality Assurance Manager in the aerospace industry, Pat is now a full-time writer and editor at EditAlley.com. Pat writes poetry, Japanese Noh drama, short stories, and nonfiction. She's won awards for her poetry and has published several short stories. She is currently working on her third speculative fiction novel.
