Ami Blackford
Ami Blackford lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a self-proclaimed word nerd. She's always on the hunt for a great story to escape into. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Fine Art from the Atlanta College of Art and is a SCAD alumni. She is constantly engaged in the creative process with her teenager, who is following in her footsteps in his pursuit of digital illustration. Her focus is writing for young adults because she has a deep desire to not only tell compelling stories but to empower teenagers in this uncertain world so they can find their own voice and gifts to effectively navigate it.
