Arlene Abundis
Arlene Abundis was born in 1985 in Hollywood, California. A daughter of Cuban immigrants who used to think her parents came from a black hole in the Caribbean Sea.
A former teacher whose love for literacy ignited a dream in writing books for children. Arlene is a member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She currently still lives in Southern California where she snuggles up with her husband, three children, and pet tarantula. Well—not exactly with the tarantula because it will eject it’s painful hairs. Yikes!
