My writing journey really began two decades ago. Up until a few years back I had a great crit group, and the meager beginnings of a writing career. I was sure it was my time, my writing was about to take off, and all my dreams were about to come true. Life happens, however, and I was derailed for quite some time as I suddenly had to establish a life far different than the one I thought I would have.
After taking quite some time off to attend and graduate from nursing school, then establish my career, (while ignoring the constantly beckoning characters floating in my head) I have decided it's time to jump back into the writing game.
Being a nurse in the emergency department of a level 1 trauma center is never boring - and an endless source of inspiration. It's a stark reminder of how fragile life truly is, and the pressing need to make the most of it while living to the fullest.
I write alpha men who know what they want and stop at nothing to get it, and the women who thwart them at every turn.
