I'm a public affairs professional -- shall we say "seasoned" and nearing retirement. I've been interested in writing a book or short story for a long time and was excited to learn about the classes and support offered through Savvy Authors.

I currently live in Midland, TX, but am a Colorado native. I'll return there eventually. I enjoy travel, gardening, bicycle riding, going to the gym, and -- believe it or not -- grocery shopping.

I'm married with no children of my own, but my husband has a daughter. My nieces and nephews are also a big part of my life.

I love almost all animals, although some I prefer to see only from a distance. My husband and I have two dogs, two cats and two horses. Everyone has a "friend."
