Cidney Mayes is a queer middle school librarian from Portland, Maine with a passion for anything magical. She is a book reviewer of children’s and young adult novels, is a member of SCWBI and the Maine Writer and Publishers Alliance. Her recent published works include short fiction in West Avenue Publishing’s A Coven of Witches Anthology, and Metaphorosis Magazine and Carmina Magazine. When not writing, you can find her giving tarot readings, walking in the woods, or playing board games with her husband and friends.
