Corey Seemiller

I am an award-winning professor in the Department of Leadership Studies in Education and Organizations at Wright State University. I have a long history of authoring and publishing books with prominent publishers, including Jossey-Bass (The Student Leadership Competencies Guidebook, 2013and Generation Z Goes to College, 2016) as well as Routledge (Generation Z: A Century in the Making, 2019) and Emerald Publishing Gen Z Around the World, 2024). My forthcoming book, Generations in the World of Work, will be published by SAGE Publications in January 2025.

My work has been featured in major news publications and media outlets such as NPR, The New York Times, Time Magazine, and Newsweek. I have been interviewed for podcasts as well as TV and radio shows worldwide and regularly engage in market research consulting for Fortune 10, 50, and 500 companies. My highly popular TED Talk on Generation Z at TEDxDayton has garnered more than a quarter million views. And, having delivered more than 100 keynotes around the world, I am a sought-after professional speaker in both educational and corporate sectors.

I am also an accredited life coach in Law of Attraction and hold certifications in the Science of Happiness, Strengths-Based Education, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Despite my widespread professional success, in 2021, my relationship of seven years came to an abrupt end. My efforts to analyze, organize, and micromanage my way from heartbreak to healing resulted in the writing of my memoir, The Healing Plan, and the launch of my internationally ranked podcast, Rock That Relationship! where my co-host and I share about our debacles and successes with breakups, healing processes, dating, and relationships. After only five seasons, the podcast already has several thousands of plays from a worldwide audience.
