Paula Chapman is a data analyst and content writer/editor. Additionally, she’s a multifaceted fiction writer and editor with a passion for storytelling with a diverse background in various creative fields. Her journey in the world of words began as a junior editor in the publishing industry.



As a seasoned reporter and columnist, Paula has skillfully covered the realms of entertainment and lifestyle for print and broadcast media. Her unique perspective and engaging writing style have won her a dedicated readership and the Clarion Award for Excellency.



Her article “Greenwich Village, My Magical Kingdom” in the compilation When Greenwich Village Was Ours, showcases her connection with the iconic Village. Her nonfiction travel account, Vacation, published via Amazon, gives readers a chance to embark on exciting journeys through her words. Her women’s fiction novel The Supplier, was published by PublishAmerica.



More recently, Paula wrote Harley's Eclipse and Penny's Song, two upmarket novels, and a m/m romance, Nashville. Additionally, she bravely shares her personal journey in Platinum, a powerful memoir that explores her struggles with cancer, the loss of a grandson, her husband's stroke, and her son's autism diagnosis–all of which occurred within a year.



Paula's creative talent extends beyond long-form writing. She has crafted beautiful short stories, poetry, and lyrical compositions, some of which are woven into her novels, adding depth and emotion to her narratives. She has also been a performer in classic rock and jazz bands.



She’s a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers’ Association and the Authors Guild.



Paula identifies as neurodivergent and disabled and is a strong advocate for minorities, LGBTQIA2S people, and the alternately abled.



While Paula's roots lie in New York City, she and her partner now reside in central New York State with their two kids, Logan and Reese, and are close to adult step kids Rich and Alice. Furry companions Jimmy, a cuddly Labradoodle, and Lindy, a spirited Jack Russell terrier, complete the pack.
