I have no idea how the class went because your email instructions were a disorganized mess, the website no better. I was never able to log on, even though I tried for at least ten minutes. When I asked for help, the same confusing emails were sent again. It's hard to believe someone who claims to be an author actually "wrote" the emails. One of the first rules of writing is to strive for clarity. Logging on for a webinar should be super simple. I have successfully done other online classes, but this debacle doesn't make me anxious to try again with Savvyauthors.
The information and author were both great, but it was really hard to understand him due to all the audio issues that were making it staticy and cut out constantly. So my rating number is based on that.
I was very disappointed in this webinar. It was obvious that Mr. Sartor didn't prepare at all and just sat down to wing it. Despite the audio issues, I hung in hoping he would say something worth my time, but exited after about 20 minutes of the actual webinar. It's a shame he didn't bother to prepare slides for the presentation. It's a webinar, after all. Visual??? Sad that he couldn't come through when someone asked him to give an example of how to write a description without a cliche...very sad. I attended a webinar earlier presented by RWAU and it was phenomenal. Perhaps it was just that this followed, but I would encourage this man to work on his presentation. If he actually had any points to make, perhaps getting them organized into visuals would vastly improve his demonstration. Sorry to be so harsh, but I couldn't find any point in the notes I took. Just needs to prepare and not think his audience is made up of total idiots. Waste of time. :(
Unfortunately, the audio quality kept me from being able to understand much that the presenter was saying.
