Jo Morgan Sloan started writing fictional narrative in late 2013 with a fantasy series. This expanded universe led to Scars & Honey, their first completed novel. Inspired by true events, extensive research into psychiatry and sexual healing, and a passion for social justice, this story is a hard-hitting look at the realities of sexual assault against cis men. Scars & Honey is unpublished and currently longlisted in the Chanticleer Somerset Awards under its former name, Blood Blooms.
Jo has since finished several novels, short stories, poems and essays. When not writing or querying, he is a survivor, a doctor, an artist, and a musician.
