Hi there,

Just another aspiring novelist. The manuscript for my first novel, an adult contemporary mystery, is currently in the query trenches.

Although a good whodunnit sends my senses tingling, my stories are always imbued with a social commentary on race, class system, sexuality and individuality. I appreciate the fact that the liberties of fiction afford me the opportunity to iterate subjects that occupy a huge chunk of my heart without being on the nose or preachy.

Besides writing and reading, my other choice of escapism is a good dance. It’s the only time when the worrier in me is banished from existence. I’m of Nigerian descent so can’t help drip with rhythm ha.

I’m not the most natural with social media but I’m always keen to connect with other writers, especially those who share similar interests.

Looking forward to connecting with a few savvy authors around here.
