Before I retired, I taught Grades 8-12 English/Language Arts for 25 years in the Georgia Public School System.
I have published poetry, short stories, book reviews, newspaper columns, and feature articles for magazines and newspapers.
My wife, also a retired teacher, and I are members of Home Exchange and love traveling.
I am the proud father of a beautiful 36-year-old daughter who is the best thing to have ever happened to me.
Some of my favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Carl Hiaasen, Cormac McCarthy, and Haruki Murakami.
I also enjoy reading the books I should have read in high school.
I look forward to being a part of Savvy Authors.
