Hi I’m new so apologies if this has been asked before.

If an agent isn’t interested in my pitch, do you think that means they wouldn’t want me to query them in the normal way at a later date?

No. You can still query the normal way. On Twitter, agents say this to prospective clients like us to encourage us to query them the traditional way if the pitch was not liked by the agent. This is what I think.

Twitter pitches can be a haystack for agents and so many pitches can be missed. Some even tweet that if you think you are a fit for them, query them anyways. So i would encourage to query in the traditional way if you have done your research and feel you have what's on their #MSWL

Thanks Sabrina! That is exactly what we hear from the agents and editors who take pitches in our pitchfest. It's a lot easier for them to review pitches and to know what they have reviewed because they can monitor the forum when they want to and not when the Twitter feed is hot.
