I'm coming at this as not a major reader of fae stories but I am familiar and have read some stories set in such realms.
How is your world set up? Are there different "factions" or are the various areas specific to the seasons?
I've been playing with Book Brush and think this template works (small town, second chance romance) The template front was white and it didn't stand out enough to me. I'm not loving it but for a first attempt it seems not too awful. ;)
Thank you so much for the visual how-to. :giggle:
Here's my attempt for a backlist book I've had on Amazon for awhile now. I think I'll have to lighten the cover or see if the designer will do it for me. It seems fine on Amazon.
I've been published for quite a number of years but most of my work is out of print with e-publisher closures so I've been doing a bit of revising and trying to put them on Amazon when I'm to get covers so I hope this class might help me learn to bring new readers to some of my favorite...
I managed to get an important scene done today. It's 895 words and closes out the first act and sets up a point of conflict for my hero and heroine who finally made their relationship commitment at the end of the previous chapter. ;)

My female main character Desiree (Des) Hartley will be 16/17

I'm Barb, who is currently living with home remodeling work chaos and my awesome 14 yr old granddaughter who'll be staying a few weeks. I pubbed a YA timetravel mystery with Month9Books that has since gone out of contract. I plan to rework that and do a sequel.
A couple months ago I...
I always wondered where the red herring phrase came from. I never expected to mean actual herrings. :giggle:
I think I did pretty well with the red herrings vs true villain in the book before my WIP.
Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some fairly soon.
Also, Thank you for the informative...
