Hi Heather, thank you, I'm not sure how to position this for success, alas. You kind of lost me at married 18 year old high school student. I'm sure it happens, but doesn't seem like most readers' experience.

Hi Heather, WWII historical fiction can be very successful. It does need to be tied to real historical events and people. I would share a full proposal with a colleague who knows the space better than I do, if this story is about a real historical woman?

Thank you for taking the time to provide helpful feedback! Although Angelika is a fictional character, her story is based in part on the experiences of opera singer Lotte Lehmann and actress Marlene Dietrich, two women the Nazis attempted to entice in order to utilize their artistry as propaganda. If you believe your colleague might still be interested in taking a look, feel free to let me know. I greatly appreciate your time and expertise.

Hi Sophie, I get the romance tropes, but not the broader themes that would make this work in women's fic. Also need a sales hook.

Carolyn, you might want to try to position into the mystery/suspense/thriller category--those might be the readers who would buy this series.
