I'm afraid I will have to redo my goals for the rest of the year. My migraines have derailed my plan, sooooo

For this week:
Attend the sprints every afternoon and write. I may go out of town to Ohio Thursday but will sprint in spirit. I need a change of atmosphere to see if that will help ;)
Continue doing my 300- 500 sort of blog writing every day
reorganize my day so I can write at my best times

For this month:
Get ready for Nano. I had been considering not doing it this year, but I'm going to go ahead and do it. So I want to start the outline for it.
Start submitting again

For the rest of the Year
Honestly, I will need to sit down and reevaluate this. More than likely focus only one thing to completion.

Hello everyone. It's been a stressful journey with bursts of excitement and despair. I can only in this email comment on goals for the week and the month. I must say that one of my (many) "black moments" came last night after I left work early for an event then returned to read in bed instead of writing!

Of course it is avoidance. It is the fear of not having everything roll out perfectly. Of "not doing it right."

Not even a matter of not having enough time!

So in this endless flirtation between elation and despair, I just have to devote a daily word count to it, revise it, be done with it and send it into the world.

1. Goals for the week;
This week, a goal of 1000 words day.

2. Goals for the month of October;
Finish mapping out my book in Scrivener. It's as simple as "butt in the chair" time. The book has been written and rewritten for over a decade so it's a matter of being clear about what event follows the right event.

Have a good week, and I will see you in the sprints. I will announce the sprints both here and via email.

Take care,
Irene
