All this month, I have been discussing how to be a successful writer. Today, I will share one more tip to be a successful writer, and that is to blog regularly.

Whether you blog regularly on your own blog or a guest blog, it is important to keep in mind that there are various ways to write a blog so that it is well organized and succinct for your reader. That way you can drive traffic to your website.

However, it’s hard to generate new ideas for your blogs month after month. This is why blogging templates can help you generate interesting articles time after time.

Article templates can help you generate new ideas to write about week after week. Many times, you can choose a theme to write about and have many topics to write about.

Here are six blog templates for you to consider.

Template #1: Tip Article

Try to write articles that highlight a certain number of tips to solve a problem. For instance,

99 Tips for Building a Freelance Writing Business
11 Tips to Housebreak Your New Dog
9 Tips for Eating More Vegetables and Fruit
55 Tips for Planning Your Wedding
Make you choose a number and put it in the title of your blog post.
For some reason, odd numbers seem to attract the reader’s attention more. I’m sure there’s a psychology about this. I just don’t know what it is.

Template #2. How-to Articles

One of the best ways to write one of these articles is to ask yourself what my reader wants to know about a particular topic. Then you can write about the topic.

You can discover what other people want by reading other people’s blogs about similar topics that you are writing about. There are certainly some topics that are really popular.

Here are a few examples of a how-to article:

How to crochet a doily
How to write an e-book in 30 days
How to write every day, despite life’s busyness
How to declutter the basement
How to declutter your office

Template #3: Pitfalls and Mistake Articles

These are usually educational articles. The purpose of these articles is to help your readers solve certain problems. Here are a few examples.
9 Deadly Mistakes that New Spouses Make
7 Common Mistakes Dieters Make
11 Common Pitfalls of Online Marketing

Template #4: Tell a Story

This can be a great way for you to be authentic with your reader. I always make it a point to write articles like this regularly because I get a lot more visitors than I would writing almost any other type of article. Using stories to convey your message can invoke emotions, convey a point, and connect with your audience.

Template #5: Share a Success

This is another great way for readers to visit your blog often. This is because when you share a success, they may just be able to tap into the same kind of excitement as you had. Then they will keep coming back for more content about different topics of success. You may want to have a success blog every few weeks to attract readers to your blog.

Template #6: Share a Controversial Opinion

People love controversy. Therefore, starting with a controversial question and then discussing it at length can really generate interest in your blog and your views. People will continue visiting you on your blog and reading what you have to say.

By using these templates, you will be able to zero in on different angles to one theme. It is one of the best ways that I know to generate consistent content on your blog.

Try it and let me know how you do!
