Can I ask why pdf and not epub? I'm planning on using kdp and D2D, so I'd just upload my word document to D2D and then use their .mobi for kdp, or am I missing something here?

Whew! I was going to go exclusive to kdp so I could do Kindle Unlimited, but it was just easier to use D2D and publish to all since I used D2D's conversion.
