I've only done light edits, but I did get it written! It took about twice as long as I had predicted it would, and admittedly I didn't get it done in one sitting. I wonder if you can tell where the break occurred?

posting this short to you, sorry it's so late. Still hoping to sub to that UK mag that I mentioned, but I'm a bit concerned about wordcount, as it doesn't fit their wordcount guideline. But look, I'll cross that bridge.

Irene, I had a read through that short of mine, and spot the typos and free-floating fragments (!). It was a bit of a rush job the last time I worked on it, obviously I'll fix those before subbing.

Anyway, you get the gist of the story I hope.
