Hi all,

What are your goals for this month?

Also, please let us know how you did on last month's goals.

Lastly, state what your goals are for this week!

Have a GREAT month, and a productive week!(y)

I did fine on last month's goals.

Have had to change this month's goals for doing items related to my book launch. I was going to do a quick and dirty first draft on the New Idea. It's been structured and a rough outline done. BUT...my cover art came in and now I'm in the throes of getting my website up. I'm in the weeds. After the website, I get the Facebook page figured out. Then Pinterest. Then connect it all.

I didn't do as well as I thought I would on last month's goals but it more because I switched goals boot camp) rather than just not accomplishing anything.
However: Here are my March goals: Includes all my goals not just writing.
Physically: I want to start running again. This is very important to me since running is something I love and boosts my self-esteem. But I'm just shooting for one to two days a week. Only because I don't want to get discouraged or give up. The rest of the time I will workout out on my treadmill.
And I want to start planning my meals and start cooking healthy. If, at all possible I would like to enjoy this. ;)
Family: I'm doing pretty good here.
Home: Ugh. My home is so cluttered that it depresses me so I plan to do one cupboard/surface per week (hoping for doing one per day-but hey, I'm looking for success) Goodwill here I come!!!!
Writing & Artwork: Keep my daily sketchbook going. (why this has to be a goal, I don't know). Everything seems to be a chore of late.
Stay on top of wordwonders, do my revisions, submit my finished manuscript (yes, from last month), refresh my query and proposal and send it out for my non-fiction book and hopefully, fingers crossed do an e-book.
And, last but not least- actually the most important. Stick to the daily schedule that I have set for myself in order to do these things.

Okay, late on this.
I'm behind on everything but slowly moving forward.
Saturday night I tripped and sprained my left ankle. Swollen multi-colored foot from toes ankle. I now know how to describe in detail what that injury feels like.
Family has done good job of pitching in. But I noticed where I let them done too by not making them more independent, too. That will change in the coming months since they'll both be high schoolers.
Writing wise: working on prepping one story for submission 10k from being finished, editing on another piece, and preparing for a rewrite on a third WIP.
Puppy wise: a work in progress since they don't understand why I'm moving in super slow motion.

Good luck to everyone with their monthly goals.

I'm doing the Monster Revision class on book 4 of my series, then Revision Frenzy on book 1 with hopefully some of this group. Those are my writing goals.

Prepping for Easter, this is a big-deal holiday for us. Helping my daughter manage her activity restrictions and get as close to term as possible. Those are my family goals.

Personal goal (based on last hw assignment I did) is to increase meditation/mindfulness practice to daily, 5-10 minutes is quite a low hurdle to jump (I'm following Caren's lead here :)) so I can be successful.

Aw...Kimber! I am SO SO sorry you are hurting.

No worries about your lateness. I am SO SO glad that your goals are written down. They are GREAT!

Take care,
Irene
