Hi all!

7.30 to 8.30 writing retreat (Liza will lead the sprint)

Tuesday: 1 to 4 pm EST. Writing retreat (I will lead the sprint)
7.30 to 8.30 writing retreat (Caren will lead the sprint)

Wednesday: 1 to 4 pm EST. Writing retreat (I will lead the sprint)
7.30 to 8.30 writing retreat (Lauren will lead the sprint)

Thursday: 1 to 4.00 pm EST. Writing retreat (I will lead the sprint)
7.30 to 8.30 writing retreat (Lauren will lead the sprint)

Friday: 1.00 to 4.00 pm EST. Writing retreat (I will lead the sprint)

Saturday: 1 to 4.00 EST, Writing retreat (I will lead the sprint)

I am going to start a new segment for our Saturday afternoon sprints. Our last 30 minutes will be devoted to chit-chat. So, if you would like to chat with one another, please grab a cup of tea, coffee, or whatever else you would like, and come to chat. If you have any questions during this time, I will endeavor to respond. But this session is very informal.

If you would like to volunteer to lead sprints some evening, please let me know. The people currently leading sprints could use some relief. Also, its a great opportunity to write consistently for a week or two on a particular day(s). I urge all of you to try and attend at least a few sprints a week. This is an important way to be consistent in your writing, and it is available to you anytime. Just come to forum and write.

Also, I have been noticing that very few of you are taking advantage of the sprint times, especially in the evenings. Please try to schedule a few sprints a week into your schedule on the weekend so that you will be more likely to attend these inspiring writing sessions. They are meant to help you write more than you would ordinarily in the presence of other writers in our group. Please take these times seriously and make them a part of increasing your writing time every week.

Take care all, and I look forward to writing along with you starting Tuesday!

Have a GREAT week, and take care of yourself and each other!

Hi, friends!
I find my ideal time for sprinting is in the mornings, once kids are set at school (one son attending in-person, one at-home learning virtually this year), and before the regular work-of-the-day (job obligations) begins.
Please let me know if anyone is interested in joining me for a regular sprint at - say - 9am-10am Eastern Time, weekdays, or alternatively 10am-noon might be possible as well. I'd love to be able to make a commitment to specific days/times and have some company while I'm at it! Perhaps Mondays and Thursdays 10a-noon, Fri 9a-10am ? Just by way of example. A Sat /Sun a.m. might be possible to commit-to as well.
Come and join me, morning writers!
Best end-of-February wishes,
Cathy

Hi Catherine!!!

Thank you for volunteering to do the sprints in the morning!!! That's just outstanding!!

I can probably join you in the morning from 11 to noon. But I am sure others may find it easy to join too. I will put out an announcement via email.

And given our March challenge, you will win prizes for leading sprints because you are inspiring writers to do some writing.

You may want to just set the times you would like to sprint, and I will post that in the new schedule for March? How does that sound?

I will email you too.

Thank you so much for helping! And I will probably join you too!!

Take care,
Irene
