Hi ladies,

This week we are ushering a brand-new month. We are one month away from the end of the first quarter of 2022. Wow! Where is the time going? Spring is just around the corner, and its such a hopeful time. How can you create hopeful goals for your writing career?

Please take some time to decide on your goals for March and then post them under this thread.

It is very important that you write your goals down and post them here for accountability. So, I hope you will take a few minutes to do that before you delve into your week's goals.

Take care, and have a productive week!

I think last week went pretty well. I am learning how to balance working at home and writing. I spent some time this weekend fine tuning my schedule and tried to be very specific about the things I need to do so that I could make sure I had room to include writing. These are my goals for this week:

Monday -- Finish editing vella
Tuesday -- write vella episode - 2k
Wednesday -- write another vella episode - 2k
Thursday -- work on inserting scenes for novel - The Witch
Friday - insert scenes for novel - The Witch

This week is my niece's wedding and so I won't be writing or doing writing stuff on Saturday.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Review of last week of February (2/21-2/28 is a little more than a week)

* 2 online writing workshops this week (lessons & assignments) - yes
* prep and send ms to beta reader #2 - delayed
* revise and submit for Harlequin Historical by Mon 2/28 - yes!
* read a new short-story collection - didn't dive into this yet
* bonus: multiple Savvy sprint-sessions, 7/8 days; no days off last week

Review of the month of Feb - I had challenging-reach goals for myself, but did manage to complete all the key aspects!

For the week of Tue Mar 1 - Sun Mar 7
* writing workshop, 1 assignment
* work on writing tasks during Savvy sprints :)
* query 1-4 agents
* make targeted fixes ONLY to specific scenes or isolated aspects of plot or character
* otherwise try to clear my mind and take time away from this manuscript by prioritizing reading, office-reorganization, and other non-writing (regular-job) work-tasks
* shape goals for the month of March

My goals for March:

1) Do research for my TT novel while creating new scenes to fill holes in the manuscript. I will write 500 words a day
2) Finish my e-book by the end of the month. This week finish the outline
3) Read the book "Save the Cat." Hopefully, I can read this for the first week of March and apply it to my novel.
4) Finish my sketchbook. About 20 pages left..
