Hi Irene - Sorry to go MIA there for a bit. I had some follow up surgery for my BC and it got moved up since my doctor had a cancellation and I took about a week to step back, rest, and recover. Moving it up actually worked out well since I have RT next month and I'll be fully recovered by then.

My Goals this Week:

Write my goals/plan of attack for the next 13 months:
Write my business plans:
  1. BC/Survivor Blog.
  2. Fiction author books (NA Self Publish , YA try for an agent).
  3. Non-fiction books (3 part series about fighting, surviving, and thriving with and after cancer, specifically calling on my experiences as a BC survivor in my early forties).
  4. Stretch (Dream) Plan - Map out idea for a my own charity that I'd love to open one day, Warrior Hugs.
  5. Type out about 10K I wrote for my YA novel, edit a bit as I go along. Sometimes I do this when the words won't flow out of my fingers and handwriting will usually get me over my writer's block hump.
  6. Last, but not least, connect with you. Please let me know when you're available either later this week or over the weekend.
As you can see I'm at a bit of a crossroads and in August I'll be at my 5-year mark as a survivor. Which is so huge. There was a while there I never thought I'd get this far. While I was recovering the last week I did a lot of soul searching and I'm not happy with my career. My company is going through a transformation, and it's honestly a toxic place to work and I need out.

I've given myself 13 months to see if I can transform from being a corporate robot and make writing my main career with Finance and Accounting consulting as a part-time side hustle when I need some extra cash.

This mentoring program I hope can help keep me accountable and on track. I have a huge hill to climb, but after beating BC, this should be more like a walk in the park. Being a Fortune 50/250 employee for the last 20+ years I work great with structure, accountability, and deadlines.

We can discuss more when we connect.

Cheers!
