Yes, me too! I got into the office 10 min later than planned, but boy those extra 35 minutes in the morning make all the difference! (I usually rush in after I send the boy to school with his dad around 9; today I coasted in at 8:25. No morning drama over breakfast and getting dressed. So what if it turns out he went to school in his pajama top? It matched with the pants, sorta - and besides, I didn't know until I picked him up this afternoon.) I soared through the specific to-do list I drafted last night. I even feel good about the revisions I did.

Wed & Fri better watch out! And Thursday night too! I'm going to finish the character revisions I picked back up today and get into the really meaty stuff by next week.

Still recovering and getting back into the swing of things as I return to work full-time and resume my writing schedule. I am sitting down to write starting tonight. It may go slowly the first few sessions, but what matters is that I'm here writing each day. My speed and enthusiasm will pick up!

Book 2 (draft 1) in Eight Book Series:
Wed 1/16 - Write Ch21 7-8pm
Thurs 1/17 - Write Ch21 7-8pm
Fri 1/18 - Write Ch21 6:30-7:30pm
Sat 1/19 - Finish Writing Ch21 @ 1-3pm
Sun 1/20 - Plan writing schedule 1/21 - 1/27/19 & track Planned vs Actual; Start Writing Ch 22 @ 1-3pm

I know this might be a little late for posting as it's Thursday, but sit down with my outline and my list of scenes that i've written and figure out where i can unsquidge the middle of my draft so that it starts moving again.
And make my schedule as per last week's lesson. :) Though, it's really all about the nap time. For me, I'm struggling with the self care time.
