Hi ladies,

Please take the time to post your goals for the third week of January under this thread.

It is very important that you write your goals down and post them here for accountability. So, I hope you will take a few minutes to do that before you delve into your week's goals.

Take care, and have a productive week!

My goals for this week is to read "Save the Cat" while outlining my novel, Another Time. If I complete the outline then I will start an outline of my other novel, Angel.

Also, I plan to write for a minimum of 2 hours and spend at least 30 minutes a day drawing.
Hi Caren,

These are great goals!!

I will be here cheering you on!!

~ See you in the forum!

These are my goals for this week:

1 - Write every day at 2:30 - 4:30 or 5:00 pm.
2 - Finish filling out the worksheets and submit them.
3 - Work on the list of scenes I made last week.
4 - Read every day.
Hi, Amber, Oh how excellent that you're prioritizing writing-AND-reading! Let us know what you read this week - I'd love to hear! (novel, stories, writing-guides?) I find myself going to reading when I'm stuck in my writing, as a way to re-inspire myself. It sounds interesting to combine/integrate these two things, as you're doing this week, rather than swinging like a pendulum between them, as I am apt to do! - Cathy

2. Sprint at least one hour a day
3. Find an encouraging quote to share on the email loop of romance mystery/suspense writers group (part of a one-week writing challenge that happens 4 times a year)
Stretch goals:
* Sprint 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in afternoon, 1 hour in evening
* Complete the final-act revisions by the end of this week.

Right now I'm rereading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. I watched the miniseries over the holidays and I thought the books were different. I wanted to see if they were. They are but the miniseries is still very good.

Thanks for that suggestion! We'll check out the miniseries - sounds like something we would enjoy.
