Hi ladies,

Please take the time to post your goals for the last week of January under this thread.

It is very important that you write your goals down and post them here for accountability. So, I hope you will take a few minutes to do that before you delve into your week's goals.

Take care, and have a productive week!

Hi Irene and friends,

OK some success this past week - and some to-do-items bumped forward to this week to come!

Last week reviewed:
- wrote & sprinted 5/7 days; higher % than I would have remembered if I hadn't been keeping daily track! Not too bad!
- found encouraging daily quotes for writing group, yes!
- revised total of 6500 words; about 1/3rd of what I'd hoped, but still counts as incremental progress.
- bonus work: created twitter pitch draft for upcoming Valentines #HarlequinPitch and considered shortening my WIP to suit the word count for their line (I'd only need to pare everything down by 6%=5K so conceivable; otherwise for mainstream-rom publishers I'd need to add two more chapters, +6% to my current story)

Goals for week of Jan 24th-30th:
* write/revise & sprint daily
* aiming for one scene min. revised per day
* Complete the final-act revisions by the end of this week!

Good luck everyone :)

Hi,

Well, I've decided I need to redo my yearly goals to make them more realistic. I had said I wanted to finish one manuscript and edit one manuscript a month. I'm going to have to be more realistic and finish one manuscript and then edit it the following month instead of trying to finish and edit in the same month.

Also, I'm going to include smaller goals so I can have a sense of finishing something. I suppose for short term gratification.

This afternoon I'm rewriting the whole years goals. But these are my goals for the week:

1 - Sprints in the afternoon for at least one hour.
2 - Reevaluate yearly goals and redo the list.
3 - Think about what I want for a blog topic.

Happy writing!
