My goals this week were pretty simple: re-establish an active (writing) presence in my home office after being absent from it more or less since Thanksgiving. Success in this category would have been defined as spending the bulk of the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. M/W/F in said office, beginning to figure out what my priorities are in 2019, break those down into goals, do some writing exercises, etc.
I got 2/3 of the way there. On Monday, I was in my office for the bulk of that time - during which I found the Savvy Authors newsletter announcing this class. I cleaned up the office and got some of the priorities straight. Wed I actually got signed up for this course, drafted a blog article, and completed a longer writing exercise. Friday (today) my son was home sick from school and the very limited office time I managed was focused on organizing.
Hoping for a more focused, productive week next week, as the hubby is out of town this weekend and I'm holding this fort down solo.
You have GREAT goals! I'm so glad that you are getting focused and becoming productive. You will make it!!! I am also sprinting next week, starting January 14th, in the afternoons Mondays through Wednesdays 1 to 4 pm and 7.00 to 8.00 pm EST.
I hope you can join me in our chatroom!
