Hi ladies,

We are moving towards the middle of the month this week. This means that we are in the first half of the last month of the first quarter. Have you reached your goals yet this month? If not, perhaps it's time to step back and determine what your obstacles were to writing. If you would like, we can talk about them during our coaching session.

Given that we are on the cusp of the end of the first quarter, please let me know how you are doing with your goals and what your goals are for this week.

Take care, and have a great week!

Hi, Irene!

Last week (March 1st) -
* prioritized daily writing, first hour of the day - did this some but not consistently
* writer's retreat Tue/Wed - helpful if tiring!
* virtual meet with beta-reader - inspiring!
* decide which direction the story will take - made some big-picture choices (title, genre-focus, beginning/middle/end points, heroine's primary story, hero's secondary-and-interconnected, drop a tertiary POV but increase that character's role)

March 8th:
writing goals:
* daily commitment: the first hour of each day (if possible)
* join in sprints
mornings Tue 9:30a & Sat 9a
afternoons Mon & Fri 1-3p
evenings Wed & Thu 7p (if possible)
revision goals:
* complete a new scene-list for replotted ms.
including turning points for each plot-thread {emphasis on clarity & flow}
* begin rearranging existing scenes to suit this new framework {revised character & plot arcs}
