Hi ladies,

Did you complete some of your goals last week? Please let me know under this thread.

What are your goals for this third week of September? Its hard to believe, but we are 10 days away from the end of the month. When you plan your goals for this week, you may want to keep this mind.

Take care, and have an awesome week!

Hi Irene =)

I hope you are having a splendid Sunday!

Last week was a bit of a hit and miss for me. I got some work done on my big WIP, The Faerie Key but not as much as I wanted to. I started a novella which is a sequel to my first novel and that went well. I am ironing out some detail for my mystery so I can continute to work on that as well.

With that in mind here are my goals for this week:
  • Write at least 500 words daily of The Faerie Key
  • Write at least 500 words daily of Letters from a Late Rocker.
  • Start my new routine- which includes time for planning my writing.
  • Write one blog.
  • Write one book review.
  • Write one short story/ flash fiction.
  • Review/do one of the mini-intensives from the conference.
I am excited about these goals :ROFLMAO:

Hi, Irene!

For now through the end of September I am aiming either to have...
* one chapter per day, revision notes typed-in (from manuscript-print-outs) and pages marked up (on the computer) in preparation for revision work
* OR a minimum 5 pages-per-day, revised based on these notes (color-coded flags of edits to make) {reach-goal is 10 pgs/day, when time permits}
* OR one new full scene typed up (into the computer, based on a handwritten first-draft).
* OR one original new scene drafted in a first version, longhand, in my writing journal.

So far I've completed this for just-about the first half of the (125K) book. (an occasional, added scene needs further edits, & I'm still 1-3 chapters away from the midpoint) If I can maintain this pace, I will potentially finish this entire round of substantial revisions by October 31st. {It depends how many new scenes I end up adding to the second half of the book.}

Good look to you and the other word warriors these last weeks of September!

Best,
Cathy
