As vibrant as the teen book market is, there are some skills you’ll need to pick up to be a successful YA fiction writer. Join published Kidlit author Fleur (F.T.) Bradley for this fun introduction to writing for t(w)eens. At the end of this workshop, you'll will have a YA book concept, logline and outline, ready to begin writing your YA novel.
Syllabus
This two-week workshop will cover:

Lesson 1. YA: The Ins and Outs, Dos and Don’ts: understanding the rules of teen fiction.
Lesson 2. It’s All About Voice: how to capture your unique YA voice.
Lesson 3. Concept and Plot: Finding a great idea and creating a plot that suits the YA market.
Lesson 4. YA Checklist and book recommendations.

At the end of this workshop, you'll will have a YA book concept, logline and outline, ready to begin writing your YA novel.
