I loved the writing exercises, the examples and ties to the history of YA, and overall engaging, intelligent discourse in this presentation. It was well-paced, informative, and thought-provoking hour!
Martha's workshop on Edgy YA was great. It reminded me to follow my author's instincts. Writing exercise prompts were really useful in getting me to focus on my characters and the story they should be telling.
