I took a different course on SavvyAuthors and found it very helpful. However, this one was not for me. 1-This course is intended for authors who do not have a current platform and summarizes the basics of how to build one. I already had a platform and was hoping to refresh and streamline it but this course was too basic; 2-The course claims homework will take a couple of hours per day. I'm an efficient worker but no way anyone can set up a website in two hours, or a newsletter from scratch. The expectations were out-of-this-world unrealistic. For example, it took me two hours just to figure out how to integrate my newsletter and website and come up with a custom domain email; 3-At times, the course seemed targeted for coaches and influencers more than authors (though it would be amazing for authors to have these skills!). 4-The homework felt perfunctory and the teacher never offered feedback; 5-The teacher did not answer my questions. So, I'd say, if you have nothing developed and want to start your social media platform, this is a good start but take your time, don't get frustrated, and don't expect feedback or support from the teacher.
