Writing Life Mental Clutter Magic for Writers with Award-Winning Author/Editor & Book Coach Kerri Nelson

This class was wonderful. I loved that if I could not join the live zoom it was just as powerful to enjoy the recorded version. The practical side of this class was the meditation advice in the addition to strong writing advice. I recommend this class highly.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this class as I hadn't done one with the live classes before on Savvy but it worked great. The classes I couldn't make because of my schedule were recorded and I was able to watch them at my own convenience. Kerri was a fun and great teacher. She was very knowledgeable and approachable and easy to talk with.
Loved this class. Kerri had great information, that was useful and gave great advice. She helped the class set very attainable goals. And was a pleasure to work with. I would strongly suggest fellow writers to take this class if it is offered again.
This was a great class. The lessons and exercises met my expectations. The instructor, Kerri Nelson, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and encouraging. I learned a few new strategies to focus and get more writing completed. Strategies and exercises were manageable and sustainable. I would recommend this class for those who are struggling with multiple time demands. I also recommend this instructor with great enthusiasm.
Great information and instruction. Much and varied class participation.
I think it was a good class. It might be geared towards newer writers and those who are looking to go a more traditional route. It has some good information about goal setting and commitment and time management (finding time).
I really enjoyed the class. The content was well organized and something I can refer to when I'm ready to being writing my Cozy Mystery. The recipes were a bonus- I didn't realize they were included. That was nice! Although I still find it a little difficult to maneuver around the Savvy site and not miss any of the posts. I'm assuming that's just my learning curve.
Kerri Nelson's Cozy Mystery class was very helpful in explaining what is required in a successful cozy mystery. I'm new to writing this genre. Ms. Nelson has a humorous, easy-going presentation. She encourages lots of questions, and I enjoyed reading her answers, as well as the questions from the participants. She permits everyone ample opportunity to describe what they are working on.
This class was informative, helpful and perfectly planned. I would not hesitate to take another class from this instructor because she is not only effective she is totally fun!
Over all a great workshop. I learned quite a bit about crafting a cozy mystery. I was disappointed however that my last two assignments didn't receive comments from the instructor. And I find it a bit weird that there was no farewell message from the instructor, no wrap-up, the workshop just--ended.
We haven't had the last lesson yet, which is now several days late. I would have liked to see more constructive feedback from the instructor--strokes are nice, but all comments on homework seemed pretty superficial. Course content was useful, although I had hoped to get a bit more information on structuring a cozy.
Great, informative class. I look forward to taking
more classes from this teacher again.

Many people prefer a class that includes participation. I do not. I don't find it helpful to share in the snippets offered. I would prefer more character input, with foibles, strong and weak qualities. It's the character who makes the story. I don't read cozies with recipes. Too cute. I did not receive the 8th lesson email.
I found it very difficult to find the class every time I logged in, so I gave up after the second lesson.
Provides simple fixes in easy to understand terms for quick results. Helpful and encouraging.
