Challenge! Contest Time!

Cracks in the paint on the old walls, rows of scuffed and dented lockers, flags with the names of prestigious colleges hanging in the hallways packed with students, and panoramic views of the beach out of the windows give Salt Cliff High a personality all its own. It’s familiar since I’ve been here for two years, it’s cozy because we make it our own space and it’s ghetto because the kids here do what they want, last week a senior brought a mini grill and had a cookout on the side of the building. It’s a fun, beach school.

I realize I have quite a few run ons here but this is my first three sentences.

Congratulations Mabry. You’ve worked hard to get here. I’m proud of you.”

Thanks so much for all these FABULOUS first three lines.

We will be putting the first lines together in a poll and share the link once voting begins.

Probably too late for the contest, but:

When Colonel Alexander Bennett opened his front door, Liliana the spider-kin seer noted that he didn't have to unlock it. He probably thought it was pointless to lock his door in the middle of Fort Liberty surrounded by security drones, cameras, and soldiers. A skilled assassin could walk right through all that. Like she had.

Thanks for posting, @Paige Roberts! Unfortunately it is a bit too late as we just announced the winner earlier this week, but what a great first three sentences! :)

Keep an eye on the forum as I'm sure we will have another contest in the future.

Happy writing!

That's no problem, still love to hear what you're working on!
