Hello, I am Alexa knight. I am an aspiring author that just finished the first draft of my first novel and am working on the outline of another book before I begin to edit the first one. Where is everybody else in their writing journey and how is it going for you guys? I know for me I both have days where I feel born to be a writer and then I feel like where the hell was I going with that... I look forward to hopefully hearing from other's who can understand me the way friends and family aren't able to!

I can tell you that my writing life is always stalled. I have a partial manuscript that I was (am) working on right now. We all have those days—trust me.

What genre(s) do you like to read?

I'm editing the first novel of a series and, in December, finished the draft of another novel (always the first in another series). I also have multiple nonfiction projects underway.

Welcome, Alexa! The first "the end" is usually the hardest, so you've crossed that mountain! Congratulations! I'm roughly halfway through my 8th romance and finding that "life" is interfering with my "creative hours," which are fewer each day. BUT I'm hanging in there! Oh, and I write steamy romance (contemporary, romantic suspense and western historical).

I so vibe with you Alexa... I have lost count of the amount of glazed expressions my poor loved ones get when I talk about 'midpoints' and how I'm struggling with exposition mechanics in a new WIP Also, nice to meet you!
