Hi all. I am a children's author from Ohio whose passion is picture books, but I also write chapter books, middle grade, and hope to one day write a cook book. Currently I have five self published books, but I am actively looking for an agent because I would like to be traditionally published.

Hi Aileen! What part of Ohio? Are you a member of SCBWI? I'm in southeast Ohio and I've looked at joining either the Columbus/Dayton group or the Cleveland group, but I haven't yet. I've also considered the 12x12PB, too. Are you enjoying it so far?

Hey Janelle. I belong to Ohio North SCBWI because I live in Shelby, Ohio north of Mansfield. Ohio North usually holds a really good conference in the fall and I know a lot of Ohio South members because they come to the North conference. I've been a member of 12x12pb for four years and I love it. It helps keep me accountable because the goal is to write one draft a month. I generally end up with 12 to 17 stories by years end.
