I heard about SA on a SiC podcast, and it sounded amazing, so here I am, joining you all.
Nice to meet you!

I'm Janice from Toronto, Canada, but I've called Japan home for decades. I'm shopping around my first cozy mystery set in Tokyo and part of a Japan-themed series.

I just binged on all the big self-edit books and YouTube, then spent three weeks in a major funk, frozen with fear and imposter syndrome. Finally, it passed when I killed my darlings that were hindering my opening hook, and I'm now back to edits and planning a new query round in September.

I'm looking forward to the agent pitching here too!

I love the crazy user names, what's the story behind them?
