1. Time boundaries are about how we spend our time as writers. Take some time to think about or journal about how you can use time as a boundary. Please answer each of the questions below and submit them for review.
  • Do you need to set aside some time for quiet reflection, to think about what you’d like to write? Yes, I need to do that. It's hard, though, finding the ability and time to do this, but I'm getting better at it.
  • Do you need a time out from something that is stealing time and keeping you upset? No, I do pretty good with not allowing myself to let things that upset me interfere with work.
  • Do you need to limit the amount of time you spend on certain tasks? Absolutely. Which is really hard when I have deadlines.
  • Do you need to limit interaction with certain people who won’t respect your time? Yes. I have lots of those.
2. Do you do first things first? How can you establish this practice in your writing career by follow-through? I do take care of the most pressing things first. Part of my problem is there is no hard and fast deadline for writing, so it suffers. I don't know how I can establish this in my writing career. This is one of the things I struggle with because there are no hard and fast deadlines.

3. How to you plan to prioritize your writing projects? Make a list of your writing projects, and rank them in terms of importance. Whichever one I have the most creativity for to the least. LOL. Seriously, though, I have trouble prioritizing writing within all my other deadlines in the first place, so I am not sure.

4. Do you make a practice of overthinking? When are you most liable to overthink? I do overthink many things. I overthink if I am scheduling my time correctly, if I should be working on something else, etc.
