I have some places that I want to submit stories to, so my "brainstorming" is going to be confined to the anthology theme for those Here's what I have:

1. Adventure on the High Seas - Rather than a mystery or a romance, I decided to write a fantasy story that takes place, at least partly, on the High Seas.

2. Sherlock Holmes - This has to be a mystery that follows the iconic Sherlock as he solves a mystery.

3. A woman runs an old lover who she still carries a flame for. Definitely a romance!

4. A young woman tries to cope with her father's dementia and both are having trouble dealing with it. Kind of a slice of life.

5. A cop uses less than legal means to keep a partner in line. A noir story.
