Who is in charge of Savvy Authors these days? Perhaps they can answer whether or not the pitchfests will continue (the Spring one and the Fall one). I registered ages ago but have heard nothing about it going forward nor being cancelled.

In a different thread, RJ has said that all workshops and special events have been 'paused', so it looks like, no.

With all due respect to the leadership, I think this could have been handled better. The fact that we're only finding out so late in the game (and personally, I don't even see where this announcement about the workshops being paused is - maybe it's because I'm new and this would have been my first event with Savvy Authors, but it doesn't appear to be in a very visible location to let folks know) and there wasn't even a clear announcement before all of the information was removed with no context comes across as very unprofessional to me.
